Following the shooting of Chernak, Gold Glasses and the other Swiss assassins catch up to Bourne at a safehouse he was hiding at. Although he hurriedly disarms the Blonde Man, the others quickly take him prisoner.

The Gigantic Man, who is, well, a gigantic man, manhandles Bourne quite a bit, breaking his fingers by slamming them in a car door, and then the killers bundle the American off in their Volvo and head off.

During the drive, Bourne, pretending to nurse his broken fingers, is in fact going for the Smith & Wesson snubnose he took off the elevator assassin earlier and which he stuffed down his sock. Gold Glasses yells at his dimwitted colleague but by then Bourne has the gun out, and one shot to the gut ends the Gigantic Man's life.
